Kemerovo State University (KemSU) is the scientific hub of Kemerovo Oblast. Located in its administrative and economic center, Kemerovo city, the institute grew into a university from the Kemerovo Pedagogical Institute in 1973. Today, it has five branches in the Siberian region and one in Ulaanbaatar. Known for its state-of-the-art infrastructure, the university was among the top 10 flagship universities in Russia in 2018.

KemSU is an important research center among the top Russian universities and boasts 20 modern research laboratories. It receives research and innovation funding from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and international foundations. Eligibility Criteria for Admission to Kemerovo State University

KemSU invites applications from international students each year. Admission to the medicine programs at the Institute of Medicine (KemSU) is not tough for Indian students with a good academic record.

You can seek admission if you:

  • Are 17 years or older before 31st December of the admission year.
  • Have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and English in 10 + 2.
  • Have secured at least 50% marks in the Class 12th board examination conducted by a board recognized by Indian authorities.
  • Have qualified NEET.
